Hey folks, what do you think about the best material for a backyard pergola? I see options in wood, aluminium, and even polycarbonate roofs now. I want something stylish but not too demanding to maintain. Any real-life experience with how these hold up?

Wood looks more natural but needs yearly care. Polycarbonate roofs are great for light diffusion but can yellow with time unless UV-protected.
