Unfortunately, some builds didn't escape the nerf hammer. Bladestorm got ripped from the Umbl Blade tree entirely, breaking the synergy with Blade Dancer builds. The Tornado Werebear also lost its ability to Last Epoch gold refill mana when swapping forms, drastically reducing its power. Additionally, the Imprint System received a nerf, lowering the proc frequency and the chance for double-tier seven affixes, making gear farming a bit slower.
Quality of Life and Other Changes
Finally, Season 4 brings some quality of life improvements, such as:
Loot Filter: The loot filter now supports 200 rules (up from 75), with the ability to set separate rules for shards, runes, and glyphs. Higher-tier items also have unique sounds to help you recognize valuable drops faster.
Monolith and Echo Rewards: The monolith now allows you to access timelines much faster with the Knowledge of Orurobis quest. Echo rewards are simplified with a single chest at the end, and timeline-specific rewards now scale with corruption.
